Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has recently released the notification for the recruitment of clerk in India. There are 11 different banks of India who are participating in IBPS clerk recruitment 2020. The IBPS Clerk Recruitment is generally done on the basis of state and union territory where candidates have to apply for the vacancy in one of the states or union territories while filling up the online application forms. Number of vacant post:-
Initially when the notification regarding this job was released then at that time only for 1557 vacancies was shown. But now IBPS has revised the notification again. Now the IBPS clerk notification shows that the number of seats has increased from 1557 to 2557. IBPS recruitment board has also confirmed that this number can go up. But for now there are 2557 vacant clerk post for which people can apply.
IBPS clerk exam eligibility criteria:-
The eligibility criteria of every government exams is somehow similar to each other. IBPS clerk eligibility criteria is so simple. Any person who is a graduate from a recognized university is eligible for the IBPS clerk recruitment 2020. There is no minimum requirement of percentage for the examination. Person only need to have a graduate degree nothing else.

IBPS clerk exam syllabus:-
The prelims entrance exam for IBPS clerk recruitment 2020 will contain three sections. Quantitative, Reasoning and English. In the mains exam two more sections will be added in the question paper. Computer and general Knowledge are the two more sections which will be added in the mains examination.
Quantitative section will contain question on several topics such as number series, mensuration, data sufficiency, profit and loss, average, ratio and proportion, time and distance, relation and function, probability, simple interest and compound interest, permutations and combinations etc.
Reasoning section will contain question from the topics such as blood relation, seating arrangement, clock, puzzles, inequalities, order ranking, input output, syllogism, distance and direction etc.
English section will contain questions on topics such as reading comprehension, sentence correction, sentence improvement, para completion, fill in the blanks, para jumble etc.
