Try to dig down and decide where you want to go whether a hill station or a beachside. Know which is the place you ever wanted to travel because these travel experiences will enrich your life. Make sure your travel trips meet your personal safety.

FIRST NIGHT IN HOTEL

Try to pre-decide the hotel you want to stay in. Plan it in a way so that you arrive by afternoon because it is comfortable to find a hotel or a hostel in daylight. A safe area looks better during the daytime and you will find accommodation easily and you have more time to make other arrangements as well.  You can go for Zostel, it is pretty safe for women. Keep a check on all your documents.

JUST DON’T FORGET TO STUDY MAP

Before you leave don’t forget to study the map and carry one as well.

SAFETY MEASURES

Never ever ignore your intuitions. If you feel like leaving just leave, trust your intuitions as they will save you from many dangers.

When someone offers you something for free don’t say yes to it. For example, someone is offering you a rose on the street say no and leave, someone tries to be over-friendly just ignore. Just know about the con games of the place you intend to travel to.

Stay in public. Don’t go to a place which looks different or dark especially at night.

Don’t tell your personal information to a stranger especially where you are staying. Be alert and attentive about your surroundings all the time. Carry your phone and learn about the local emergency number and try to learn how to say help in the local language.

Stay sober don’t drink too much, or hunt for drugs. No!

YOUR LODGING SAFETY

Try to ask for a room at the upper place it could be great if the floor you are staying in has women travelers as well. If this place offers the only floor for women definitely goes for it. Always know the exit points and ask about the safety measures they have before checking into any hotel. Lock all important items in your room. When you leave your room put your lights on if possible and keep a signboard of ‘Do Not Disturb’.

Behavior

The first thing is to dress appropriately. Don’t wear heavy jewelry, clothes or accessories that might attract attention towards you. Walk with confidence and behave like a locality, not as a tourist. Meet other Women travel. You should know when to be polite and when to be impolite.
