Announcing Dil Bechara’s direct-to-digital release, Uday Shankar, president, the Walt Disney Company APAC and chairman, Star, and Disney India had called it ‘a celebration of his (Rajput’s ) life and his extraordinary work,’ adding that the film will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers across India, unlike other movies that are part of the Disney+ VIP plan priced at ₹399 a year.
Dil Bechara Plot
The movie is based on the famous novel “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green. Sanjana Sanghi (Kizie), a cancer patient meets Manny (Sushant Singh Rajput) in a support group. Manny has already recovered from cancer and tries to teach Kizie to live life to the fullest. As evident from the trailer, initially, Kizie is unwilling to bond with Manny but with the span of time, the couple falls in love with each other. Later, Kizie’s health gets deteriorating and the couple plans to visit France. With each passing second, the movie turns into a rollercoaster and the scenes get more sentimental.
