The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the date sheet for the first term today and has announced that the board exams for the batch of 2021-22 will be held in two terms. The first term examination will be conducted in the month of November-December while the second term will be conducted in March-April.
The first term examination will be in objective form. However, the form of the second term is not confirmed yet. CBSE has announced that the nature of the second term examination majorly depends on the situation of covid-19. The subjects are also divided into major and minor subjects. The CBSE date sheet of major subjects is final while the conducting pattern of minor subjects is yet to be decided.
CBSE Date Sheet 2021-22
The CBSE date sheet will be released on CBSE’s official site, today i.e., October 18. The date sheet can be easily downloaded from there. The examination will start at 11:30 am instead of 10:30 am due to winter. The reading time of the examination is increased to 20 minutes which was earlier than 15 minutes. Updates regarding the minor subjects will be provided from the school itself. This examination will not include the whole syllabus.
Till now the exams are scheduled to be conducted in offline mode. But in case of emergency situations due to covid-19 necessary steps will be taken by the board.
The board has announced that the CBSE final result of class 10th and 12th will only be decided when both the exams are conducted successfully. Then only the student will be placed in the past, fail, or compartment category.
The term I exams will be objective type and the duration of the tests will be 90 minutes. The exams will commence from 11.30 am due to the winter season.
Once the term-I exam concludes, the results in the form of the marks sheet will be declared. However, no student will be placed in the pass, compartment, and essential repeat categories after the first term. The final results will be declared after the first and the second-term examinations.
