What’s so special about “Ramadan Jumma Tul Wida”?

 

Friday is the special day for Muslims, for ramadan Jumma Tul Wida is greeting them at their doorstep. All Muslim men and women will try to seek most of the blessings of this auspicious day.

Though this year ramadan Jumma Tul Widawill be special and most of the people will remember it for their lifetime. Due to pandemic “Coronavirus,” all the religious activities are restrained in public. This is to avoid physical contact and limit the spread of the virus.

This term means Friday of farewell and it holds immense importance, Islam. Let’s learn more about it. Ramzan is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar. Plus, Friday is of utmost importance for Muslims. Basically, it is a realization that the sacred month of Ramzan will end soon.

Most Muslims spend their most of their time in doing Ibadat (religious activities). On Friday Muslim men do attend a congregation in lieu of mid-day prayer. On the day of alwida jumaa, people do pray on the last Friday before Eid celebration.

What do people do on the day of Alvida Jumma?

People conduct special prayers and do lots of social work on this day. They also do charity work for blessings. People of Muslim community get together to attend special festival, which is last Friday of Ramzan.

People perform special prayers on this day as their holy book “Quran” tells them to do. They indulge in reciting Quran and involving in social work in order to get a blessing. There is a high practice of offering “sadqah” (donation) to the needy and poor on this day.

As per the religious book of Quran in the month of Ramzan the doors of hell get close. In general, the last 10 days of Ramzan holds immense importance. As on 23rd of Ramzan the Quran came into existence by permission of Allah.

People try to indulge in good deeds as much as possible. They stay away from impurities and all bad deeds. They offer special prayers known as “nabiyon ke naam”. It is a type of chanting of the prophets in hope of invoking their blessings.

Apart from namaz, members of the community also visit their mosques for the Khutbah. After sunset, they break their fast with all the delicious food items.

How the Year 2020 Ramadan Jumma Tul Wida will look alike?

Surely this year alwida juma will be totally different. It will be a heartbreaking scene to see the empty mosques. But this is in the benefit of the people only. Government is advising people to refrain from any public gathering. So, do this in the name of Allah and save people from spreading of this deadly virus.
