The world cinema has produced some of the very fine sci fi movies of all time. Sometimes it is treated apparantly as movies loved by kids. The more narrow outlook of our kind takes it to a level where the viewers find themselves as alienated to watch the fiction with the perspective of the makers. A TRIP TO THE MOON (1902) was one of the most talked about and successful movies in the early 20th century’s period. Later in the middle of 1950s the movies with scary stuff of aliens and extra terrestrial and earthly monsters got famous. Later, movies such as A SPACE ODYSSEY (2001) gave the audience a new kind of science fiction movie which rose the level of such movies.

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK is popularly known as STAR WARS : EPISODE V : EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (1980) which was an American film. This movie was regarded as a better movie than its previous sequel FRANKSTEIN. It was produced by Carl Laemmle Jr. and directed by James Whales. It was directed and written by Ridley Scott and Dan O’ Bannon respectively. The movie stars Tom Skerritt, Sigourney weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Hary Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm and Yaphet Kotto. The movie is about an aggressive alien who loss control over his spaceship. This movie has been regarded has the seventh best film in its category till date and has won many awards.
