- Dal Baati Churma
It is the signature dish of Rajasthan. The specialty of this dish is that it hardly requires any water for its preparation. The Baati is made up of grounded wheat cooked in ghee and Jiggery/sugar. This is served with dal made of dried lentils.
- Laal Mans
Laal mans is the red meat which is a delicious non-vegetarian dish in the predominantly vegetarian state. It got its name from the red color because lots of spices are involved in making the dish. Earlier it was made by the meat of deer or boar but now it is made up of mutton. It is prepared in low heat with sauce of red chilies, garlic paste, sliced onions and curds.
- Ker Sangri
Ker Sangri is a traditional dish made with dried mango and sangria beans. It is either cooked in buttermilk or water.
- Raab
Raab is a dish from the times of Maharaja’s. It is made from Bajra flour and fermented buttermilk. It is prepared by heating the ingredients (famous food recipes of rajasthan) in an earthen pot at a low flame for a time until it is fully cooked it forms a thick sauce which is eaten usually as a soup.
- Ghevar
Ghevar is a sweet dish prepared during festivals. It is a flour disc soaked in ghee and milk cooked to make up a crunchy dessert and topped with sliced almonds.
