This recipe is not much known to the world (Dal Dhokli Recipe) but it’s totally lip-smacking


  • Toor daal- 2 cups
  • Peanuts – 1 small cup
  • Gram flour- 1 cup
  • Wheat flour-
  • Salt- to taste
  • Turmeric powder- a pinch
  • Red chilli powder- to taste
  • Asafoetida- a pinch
  • Ajwain- a pinch
  • Oil- 2 spoon
  • Mustard seed-1/2 spoon
  • Curry leaves- 2 to 3

Recipe : –

  • Take daal in the cooker, add water, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and cook it for 6 to 7 whistle
  • Meanwhile, prepare the dough . Take all ingredients ( wheat flour, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, asafoetida, Ajwain) . Mix it well and knead the dough .
  • Make small ball and like normal roti make it and then make the diamond shape
  • Then add these diamond shape dhokli one by one in daal . Make sure daal is boiling on low flame (Dal Dhokli Recipe)
  • Simmer it for 10-12 minutes
  •  Make tadka for daal. Heat  oil in the pan and put mustard seeds and curry leaves to it
  • Add tadka to daal. Dal dhokli is ready to serve.
