Firstly, we are going to talk about one of the busiest Delhi metro route Blue line. It is the line which consists of 50 metro stations starting right from Dwarka sector-21 to Noida electronic city. The metro here runs at a frequency of 4 minutes but it may differ on some days. It consists of 6 or 8 coaches. It is one of the main metro routes.

Pink Line Metro Route

Secondly, we are going to talk about the pink line. This route came in 2018. It is also known as the Ring Road line. The pink line connects Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar and has 38 stations. It is a rapid transit system in Delhi. Metro runs at a frequency of 5 minutes and has 6 to 8 coaches. The special part of this route is that it has many interchanging points.

Violet Line Metro Route

Thirdly, we are going to discuss the violet line metro route which came into existence in October 2010. It consists of 32 stations starting from Kashmere Gate to Raja Nahar Singh and has many interchanges available at  Kashmere Gate. The frequency of metro in this line varies between 2 to 4 minutes.

Magenta Line Metro Route

This Delhi metro route came in the year 2017. It is also known as Line 8 and travels with a maximum speed of 80km/h and consists of 6 or 8 coaches. The stations of this metro route have installed platform screen doors for increased safety. It has a total of 25 stations starting from Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden where metro runs at a frequency of 5 minutes.

GreenLine Metro Route

The Greenline metro or the fifth line metro came into existence back in 2010. It is the first line to run on Standard Gauge. This route runs as two individual sections, the mainline starts from Inderlok to Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh and the other line known as the branch line runs from Kirti Nagar to Ashok Park Main. It is recognised as the first line to be constructed in Delhi Metro’s Phase II.

Yellow Line Metro Route

This metro route came back in 2004. After the red line, it is the second line of Delhi Metro to be opened in phases. Surprisingly, it is considered to be the longest and busiest of all line.
