‘Dishul Ki Shaadi’: How Did it all start?
You will be surprised to know that Rahul and Disha started talking to each other on social media. Later the two went on a date in 2018 and, that was when they got feelings for each other. Initially, the two were very good friends but later after entering Big Boss 14, distance made Rahul realise that Disha is the one for him. The singer adorably proposed Disha on the Television and it was an aww moment.
Pre-wedding rituals of Dishul
Celebrations of ‘Dishul Ki Shaadi’ kickstarted with some amazing pre-wedding rituals. Disha’s bachelorette party was the first one that took over the internet. Post that, the couple had a beautiful Mehendi ceremony. Video of Rahul singing ‘Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna’ also went viral on social media. Disha looked gorgeous in a pink and mint suit with henna adorned hands.
Dishul Haldi ceremony
After Mehendi, the Haldi ceremony took place on 15th July. Videos of Rahul and Disha with Haldi and rose petals smeared all over them are mesmerising. The pictures from the Haldi function made everyone super excited for the Grand Wedding day.
‘Dishul Ki Shaadi’: The Big Day
The grand wedding took place at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai on 16th July.
From their entry to the baraat and the decorations, everything was just a vow. Rahul along with his close friends and family looked super happy and danced his heart out in the baraat. Disha on the other hand made everyone awestruck with her red bridal lehenga and subtle makeup. The charm and elegance of a bride on Disha’s face were making her look more stunning. The groom also grabbed everyone’s attention with his soulful voice. The two then exchanged garlands with was yet another moment to gaze on.

‘Dishul Ki Shaadi’: The sangeet ceremony
Post tying the knot, Rahul and Disha threw a sangeet party for their family and friends. Disha wore a blue blingy outfit whereas Rahul donned a classy black suit. What made the party so exciting was their outstanding performances. Both Disha and Rahul gave a fun-filled solo performance and an adorable romantic dance together. The sangeet ceremony did not look less than any Award function.
The Wedding Reception
The newlywed also planned a grand reception party on the day of their wedding in the evening. From the duo’s outfits to the entire ambience, everything was illuminating. Disha looked like a princess in Dolly J classic silver drape saree. Rahul on the other hand dazzled in a glimmering suit. Also, Disha’s subtle makeup won many hearts, her picture immediately got viral on Instagram. Celebrities including Mika Singh, Shweta Tiwari, Arjun Bijlani, Vishal Aditya Singh, Anushka Sen, Vikas Gupta, Shefali, Aly Goni, Jasmine Bhasin, and were also spotted at the reception party.
Besides this, the eyeball of the reception was Disha and Rahul’s lovey-dovey performance. The love birds danced to the tunes of ‘Dekha Hazaro Dafa Aapko’ and ‘Uptown Funk’.
