Every breakup has effect over your mind and body. Although suppressing unpleasant feelings is a natural impulse but don’t overdo. Try let go your pain at the initial stages of breakup. Cry, write or express to your friends and bust out your hidden emotions.

Focus on your health

After breakup most of the people start feeling that life isn’t worth living. They don’t eat, stop going to office, lay low and eventually ignore their health and well being. Always remember, that you can achieve everything in life but once health is lost, everything is lost. There is no need of punishing yourself and reinforcing feelings of rejection. Instead of restricting calories, eat nourishing foods. Especially the food which is high in fiber, protein and nutrients will boost your energy and mood.

Meet your friends

You may surely find some people who have good intentions to make you feel better. It is suggested to seek the help of those people. ‘Don’t worry, you’ll meet someone else better’ this is all you need to hear from them. Try to talk with people who understand what you are going through. It could be your friend, a family member or a mentor. A little guidance and you’ll get back on the path of recovery.

Activate yourself

Separation and breakup can be depressing and distracting. Keeping yourself soaked in sorrow can affect your work and career. Always remember, it is all because of your work you are leading a respectful life. So push back yourself into work. Meeting with colleagues and working can be the best stress busters, so go ahead and try.
